and interviewees, soliciting funds with false promises of employment assistance.
The Board clarifies that it does not charge any fees for its services. Anyone claiming
otherwise is committing fraud and should be reported to the police immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This will be the entry and training grade into this cadre. An officer at this level may be deployed in a department to head a small registry. The officer will work under supervision of a more senior officer. Specific duties and responsibilities will include: receiving, sorting, opening, filling, minuting and distribution of mail; dispatching of mails; and guiding on files disposal.
Requirements for Appointment:
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: -
(i) Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C (plain) from the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution; and
(ii) A Diploma in Records/Information Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
